Magali Vullierme was currently a postdoctoral researcher at CEARC. As part of the H2020 Nunataryuk project, she works on security issues of permafrost thaw.
In May 2018, she completed a PhD in political sciences co-guided by Professor Jean-Paul Vanderlinden (CEARC, France) and Professor Stéphane Roussel (ENAP, Canada). She studied security challenges in the Canadian Arctic, and more specifically Human Security of Arctic communities throughout a study of the Canadian Rangers. She conducted several field trips in the Arctic, including two with Canadian Rangers patrols.
