 Eda Ayaydın is a PhD candidate in the field of Political Science since 2017 at University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines guided by Professor Jan Borm. Her thesis purports to investigate the history of international exploration of the Arctic from nation-state interests to oil & gas companies’ endeavours, amongst others. Her research also tries to render more evident the impact of exploration on sovereignty claims and governance in the Arctic.
