Julie Bulteau is an environmental economist and Associate Professor (HDR) at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (Paris-Saclay University).
Her research focuses on the economic analysis of current transitions — ecological, energy-related and technological — with a particular emphasis on sustainable mobility policies and travel behaviour. She is especially interested in the effects of public policies on mobility practices, socio-spatial inequalities and the socio-economic transformations of territories. Her study areas include heterogeneous territorial contexts facing environmental and socio-economic change, including rapidly changing environments such as Arctic and sub-Arctic regions.
Her research mainly relies on empirical approaches combining quantitative surveys, econometric modelling and spatial analysis within an interdisciplinary framework.
