 Magali Vullierme is a PhD student at University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ).

In november 2014, she started her political and social sciences thesis project research at Cultures, Régulations, Institutions et Territoires (CRIT) doctoral school, co-guided by Professor Jean-Paul Vanderlinden (CEARC, France) and Professor Stephane Roussel (ENAP, Canada). She studies security challenges in the Arctic, and more specifically the need to strengthen the consultation of indigenous peoples on these issues.
